Like most people I’m a fan of American artist Winslow Homer (1835-1910).  Homer gets most of his notoriety from a handful of well-known paintings, while much of his very large body of work goes largely unnoticed, at least by the general public.  At Art Out The Wazoo we want to change that!  In the 1880s Homer did a number of beautiful watercolors in the Bahamas, three of which are posted here. I love the minimalism and deceptive simplicity of these.
