Happy Father’s Day!  Here are my two latest.  I haven’t done all that many cityscapes, but I had fun with this little street scene from Amboise, France.  A big thank you to my friend Laura Leonardo Ownby for letting me use her cool photograph as a reference.

The second painting depicts my wife’s family cottage on Nessling Lake (one of the Chain-O-Lakes) just outside Waupaca, Wisconsin.  It’s a charming, rustic little place, over a hundred years old, that the MacIntosh clan have been using every summer for many years.  I’ve been meaning to paint it for quite some time but was waiting for just the right light.  It finally arrived.

Beautiful job, RB! The cottage looks like a great place, too.
